La voz antena 3 2021
After the success of the sixth edition of La voz – the first on Antena 3 – on October 30, 2019 Pablo López and Antonio Orozco confirmed, during their visit to El hormiguero, that they would repeat as coaches in the seventh edition of the program – the second on Antena 3 -. Days later, on November 7, Laura Pausini also went to El hormiguero, where she confirmed to be the 3rd coach of the program. After that announcement, Pablo Motos, host of the program, showed a video in the program where Alejandro Sanz was presented as the 4th coach, thus completing the team of coaches of The Voice 2020.
The Voice format was devised by John de Mol, creator of Big Brother, and differs from other singing talent contests because it consists of choosing from a group of contestants -of different ages- those who stand out for their vocal qualities without their image influencing the decision of the jury, composed of well-known artists who subsequently direct their academic training. The objective of this format is to try to find the best voice of our country.

In the Blind Auditions, each coach had to complete their teams with 15 contestants. Each coach had three blocks to prevent another coach from getting a contestant. Twelve contestants who did not get chair turns were chosen to participate in The Comeback Stage .
At the beginning of the episode, the coaches performed songs with each other. Alejandro Sanz sang “Estoy hecho de pedacitos de ti”, Pablo Lopez sang “Víveme”, Laura Pausini sang “El Patio” and Antonio Orozco sang “No Tengo Nada”.
This season, the rules of “Los Asaltos” changed. Each coach had to make three groups of five performers from their team to compete in a Knockout. At the end of the five performances, their coach could only advance with one of the performers. But, each coach got two steals that they could use to steal losing performers from other teams. The coaches received help from their advisors: Tini Stoessel for Team Alejandro, Sebastian Yatra for Team Pablo, Carlos Rivera for Team Laura and Mala Rodriguez for Team Antonio. At the end of this round, each coach advanced five artists to the battles.

Two weeks have passed since ‘Sálvame’ announced that Kiko Rivera was preparing a secret project with Mediaset. Antena 3 Noticias 1, led by Sandra Golpe, was the most followed news program of the day with a 19.8% audience share and 2,144,000 viewers. It also led the second edition with 21.2% and 1,885,000 viewers.
