Esta zona, conocida en inglés como el Paseo del Arte, cuenta con un arte y una belleza como no verá en ningún otro lugar del mundo. A lo largo de poco más de un kilómetro, encontrará el Museo del Prado, el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza y el Museo Reina Sofía, además de otras instituciones y edificios que merece la pena visitar. Si piensa visitar los tres museos, le recomendamos que adquiera el pase del Paseo del Arte (30,40€ en 2021), que es válido durante un año y permite una visita a la colección permanente de cada uno de los tres museos. En julio de 2021, la zona conocida como el Paisaje de la Luz, que abarca el Paseo del Prado y el Parque del Retiro, fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
