Efecto Pasillo comenzó como banda en 2007, ganando un concurso de bandas musicales. Después grabaron su primera maqueta, En el aire, que sonó en varias radios locales. El productor musical Tato Latorre viajó desde Barcelona a Canarias para escucharles en directo en un concierto, y quedó tan impresionado que tomó al grupo bajo su tutela.
A principios de 2010 lanzaron Efecto Pasillo, su álbum debut autotitulado. Su single de debut, Chacho, les hizo famosos a nivel nacional, hasta el punto de ser elegidos por Hombres G como teloneros de su gira nacional. Esto convirtió a Efecto Pasillo en una de las bandas más importantes de Canarias.
Pan y mantequilla les valió sus dos primeras nominaciones a los Premios 40 Principales, siendo aspirantes a Mejor Artista Revelación Español y Mejor Canción Española, que finalmente perdieron frente a Auryn y Pablo Alborán, respectivamente. En la edición de 2013, también se presentaron al premio al Mejor Álbum Español, perdiendo de nuevo frente a Alborán.

Efecto Pasillo started participating as a band in 2007, entering a band contest which they won with a landslide victory. The group began recording their first demo, titled “En el aire”, which was broadcasted by local channels. During a concert in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tato Latorre, music producer, traveled from Barcelona to the Canary Islands to listen to them, and the critics were so favorable that he decided to welcome the group.
In 2015, Efecto Pasillo releases the advance single of their third album, under the title Cuando me siento bien. With the subsequent release of the album Tiembla la Tierra with release date June 23, 2015.

The song was composed thinking about the athlete Kobe Bryant, who died last January 26th in a plane crash. One of the verses of the song says “This life is one, I don’t know how long I have left so embrace the one you love, don’t wait now that you can”, to reflect on how we live.
Finally, the music video was recorded in Jamaica, and showed videos of natural disasters like the one seen a few months ago with the fires in Australia, but it also shows the traditional and distinctive vibe of the city where it was recorded.
